At one time or another, I was able to convince my little sister of the following:

1. You were a twin in the womb, but you absorbed the other being.
2. Penny is an exotic breed of sloth, not a dog.
3. I’m actually your mother. Mom’s your grandma.
4. If you have a younger sibling, you can read his or her mind once he or she turns 5.
5. Granola’s made of moths.
6. The Jonas Brothers aren’t really brothers.
7. We’re not moving to Atlanta, we’re moving to Africa.
